Mineral & Exploration Drilling

This is a reference to drilling techniques designed to capture samples for geological evaluation for ether existing mines (grade control, pit design) or for greenfield deposits (resource definition). Drilling methods used include coring, and RC.

Water Well Drilling

Water Well Drilling is typically done to secure water for human or agricultural purposes, or for de-watering mine or construction sites, or even for geothermal applications. Techniques used include Mud Rotary, LD Hammer, and RC.

Special Foundations Drilling

This is a reference to piling techniques that are constructed under a stabilising fluid to maintain integrity. Specific techniques include Diaphragm Wall, Bored Pile, Barrette, and Cut off Wall. Mudlogic has a range of bentonite and polymer based products for all ground conditions and techniques as well as the ability to offer tailored advice to foundation contractors on best practice for specific projects.

Horizontal Directional Drilling

What type of drilling are you doing? When you're HDD drilling, you need to keep the hole open and make metres. From pilot and reaming to pullback, Mudlogic has the muds and materials you require.

Geotechnical Drilling

This is a reference to drilling techniques designed to obtain soil samples for the purpose of geological evaluation. Typically Geotechnical Drilling is done prior to the development of major construction and infrastructure projects to assist Civil Engineers plan for the optimum building and construction techniques. Additionally Geotechnical Drilling may be done to identify if there is any ground contamination or some other geological feature present in certain locations.
